TOKOH-TOKOH BESAR KESULTANAN PALEMBANG DARUSSALAM

Abstract

This paper aims to re-reveal the great figures of the Palembang Sultanate of Darussam, and learn the character of their leadership. Research conducted to reveal and implement the character of South Sumatra positive figure, as a form of learning local wisdom and interesting values of positive characters in contemporary life. So as to reduce the negative impact of globalization that affects the character of the younger generation is declining. Positive characters of the great figures of the Sultanate of Palembang Darussalam such as Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin, Palembang major cleric Abdusshamad Al-Palimbangi and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II studied, so it can be a role model for students in building various positive characters. Through implemetasi and character learning is expected to improve student awareness and awareness about the positive character they must possess.
