PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS SISWA MELALUI MEDIA BLOG

Abstract


Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat apakah ada peningkatan kemapuan menulis sesudah diajarkan kemampuan menulis dengan blog sebagai media pembelajaran. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa Inggris di STKIP muhammadiyah Pagar Alam, sedangkan sample dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah menggunakan test menulis,. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung > t-table (14.106 > 2.07387), Hal ini membuktikan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan blog sebagai media pembelajaran pada kemampuan menulis siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa dengan menggunakan blog sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci: kemampuan menulis siswa, blog Abstract The objective of this research was to find out whether or not there was significant improvement of students’ writing skill after being taught by using blog as teaching media. The population of this research was all English study program of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pagar Alam, and sample in this research was students in second semester. In collecting the data, the researcher written test. The result of this research show that t-obtain > t-table (14.106 > 2.07387), this result prove that there were influence of applying blog as teaching media in improving students’ writing skill. So, it can be concluded that there were improvement of students’ writing achievement by applying blog as teaching media. Keyword: students’ writing skill,blog
