This study aimed to determine the growth and worship of UPJA in the study area to achieve its optimal goals by comparing the conditions of the Service Units that were sourced from the Regulations of the Minister of Agriculture. The research was conducted in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research was carried out in September to October 2019. The parameters that were observed in this study were the availability of the number of equipment, the rental price of machineries, operational performance of the Alsintan Service Business, UPJA system development problems, UPJA system development strategies. The results of this study were the management of UPJA in the tidal and swamp region of Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, which was quite good based on a comparison of Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 25 of 2008, UPJA has a role to be a solution in overcoming labor scarcity in rural areas, the existence of UPJA suppresses loss and improves quality rice yields, the development of the UPJA system was intended to support the achievement of agricultural mechanization goals that help farmers achieve increased production, and the presence of UPJA plays an important role in overcoming the needs of agricultural machinery to cultivate land, irrigation, harvesting and post-harvesting.
