DESIGN LEARNING ABOUT REFLECTION WITH PMRI APPROACH IN CLASS VII
Firdaus, Firdaus
Hartono, Yusuf
Somakim, Somakim
In the process of learning about reflection, some teachers teach the concept of reflection in an abstract way. As a result students have difficulty in understanding the concept transformation of reflection. This study aims to build students' understanding of the reverse context of "AMBULANCE" and to design the learning path of reflection learning in class VII with PMRI approach. Before the learning process first designed learning tool that is in the form of Ice berg, Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT), syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Activity Sheet. This reflective learning involves four activities: observing the context, identifying reflecting properties with an inverted 'AMBULANCE' writing context, drawing the letters reflected in the reversed "AMBULANCE" and determining the result of point and wake reflection on the Cartesian plane. From the learning result shows that by using the context of writing "AMBULANCE" is reversed, able to build students' understanding and give opportunity to students to understand the concept of reflection and produce trajectory of learning about reflection in the form of learning process path or learning experience passed by students.

Faisal, Emil El
Sulkipani, Sulkipani
This literature study aims to analyze the opportunity of PPKn as an instrument of development of students' caring character. Caring for the environment is a very influential factor in maintaining the balance and environmental sustainability. The implication is that when humans have a strong concern for the environment then people will feel the great benefits in carrying out activities of life. Conversely, when humans have no concern for the environment, natural disasters will occur as a result of environmental imbalances. Thus, building a care-minded environment is a preventive effort so that environmental damage can be anticipated. Among the preventive efforts are through PPKn. PPKn as one of the subjects developed at the level of schooling has great opportunities and responsibilities in building students' caring character. It can be known from the nature of PPKn as character education. The government has set the policy direction of strengthening character education is to develop the character of students, one of which is the character of environmental care.

Darmawijoyo, Darmawijoyo
This research is a design research that aims to generate the learning trajectory of students in linear equations with one variable using a balancing tool. Resolve problem related to linear equations with one variable is one of the basic competencies in the high school curriculum for grade 7. But in fact, many students are having difficulty in solving the story problem on linear equations with one variable, so that causing students to make mistakes. Mathematical learning should begin with the introduction of contextual problems. By posing contextual problems, learners are gradually guided to master mathematical concepts. One approach to mathematics learning in accordance with that is the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI). Researchers designed the hypotetical learning trajectory to be used as guidelines for teachers during the learning process. The appropriate starting point for studying the concept of linear equations with one variable is about balance activity. The contextual problem chosen by researcher is about using a balancing tool. The results showed that the learning of linear equations with one variable using PMRI can help students develop from the informal to the formal stage of mathematics and can be used as alternatives in learning.

THE DIASPORA OF PALEMBANGNESE ZURIAT IN MALUKU
Wargadalem, Farida R
Utama, Nanda Julian
Nadjamuddin, Lukman
This paper is to provide an explanation and a description about the diaspora of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II and his descendants (Zuriat) descendants and his followers in Maluku islands. This study is limited to three regions; Ternate Island, Bacan Island, and Ambon City. The main problem in this research is what lies behind the occurrence of diaspora from zuriates of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II and his followers, and their roles in these three locations. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (SMB II) was one of the greatest and the most prominent Sultan in Palembang Sultanate. In addition, he was also respected because he dared to oppose foreign parties, especially Dutch and British who were eager to seizing Palembang's natural wealth which known had dominated the trade of tin and pepper as the result it led to several wars with the Sultanate. This battle was won by Dutch, which resulted in capturing and exiling of the Sultan and his followers to Batavia (1821) and Ternate in 1822. It was the beginning of the exile of Palembangnese into Maluku Islands. The second exile took place in 1825, after the resistance led by Sultan Ahmad Najamuddin Prabu Anom, the son of Sultan Ahmad Najamuddin II. Fifty years later, the exile occurred again in the descendants of SMB II, and other Sultanate families. This second exile spread out to several points. It was the beginning of diaspora of Palembangnese zuriat began almost everywhere in Maluku Islands. It can be said that the concentration of the Palembangnese is more common in the three places mentioned above. They made relation, and created new cultural patterns. In addition, some of them are also considered important because they become ellites. It becomes the most interesting point to be discussed through a historical perspective, by prioritizing historical methodology and oral traditions that will become references as well as being the main source in this paper.

MATHEMATICAL UNDERSTANDING CAPABILITY OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL NUMBER 1 STUDENTS THROUGH LEARNING ASSISTED GRAPHER APPLICATION ON ANDROID
Sanova, Yanna
Susanti, Ely
Mentari, Ayu
This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts in grade 12 7 in SMA 1 Palembang through learning assisted Grapher application on android. The subjects of this study consisted of 30 students. The instrument used was observation and test. Observations were used to collect data about learning and tests were used to see the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. The results of the study concluded that the ability of students' understanding of rational function material, limitless to algebraic functions and infinite limits on categorized trigonometric functions was quite good. In the material of rational function, students were misconstrued due to being trapped in images that appear to be congruent. Even though the pictures were not congruent. Still related to the material of rational function, the presentation of a picture that was not right in terms of scale and form of sketches caused students to misinterpret the problem and make conclusions. Specifically for infinite limit material for both algebraic and trigonometric functions, the low scores of students on the concept comprehension tests were caused by students being less careful in calculating.

Baiduri, Baiduri
This paper aims to explore and describe the representation made by students of mathematics education in solving algebraic problems based on various spatial abilities. Two students from each of the high, moderate, and low spatial abilities were chosen to be the subject of the study. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews and written answers in answering algebraic problems. The credibility of the data was obtained through continuous observation and source triangulation. The data obtained were analyzed using a flow chart consisting of three activities that occurred simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis showed that the internal representation of subjects with various spatial abilities differed in understanding the problem and making a solution plan, both questions investigation and finding. The external representation of subjects with various spatial abilities is the same in understanding the problem of inquiry. As for the problem of finding high and low spatial-capable subjects presenting the same external representation. There are similarities in external representations for solving investigation questions between high and low spatial abilities, and between moderate and low spatial abilities for finding problems.

ANALYSIS MOMENT INERTIA OF TIPPE TOP IN FLAT FIELD AS CONTRIBUTION TO MECHANICAL STUDIES
Ariska, Melly
The moment of inertia of a reverse gas can be calculated by physically analyzing the parts of the return gas. The back casing consists of a cut ball and a small tube. The back of the head is a ball (sphere) which has a radius R while the handle forms a finger that has fingers. The moment of inertia back gasing is the sum of the moment of truncated inertia and the moment of inertia of the tube with the rotating axis at the center of the mass in the back gas. Backfill is an example of a rigid body system that has a holonomic style, which can move in translation and rotation.

DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL CHEMICAL TEACHING MATERIALS USING TASK BASED LEARNING MODEL
Sanjaya, Sanjaya
Physical Chemistry Teaching Materials are generally delivered using a one-way learning model, from lecturers to students. This causes student learning activities to be low so that student learning outcomes are not optimal. To maximize learning outcomes it is necessary to improve the quality of learning, by changing learning models into task-based learning. Changing the learning model requires changing the components of teaching materials according to the learning model that has been changed. Teaching material for Physical Chemistry in Chemistry Education Program PMIPA FKIP Sriwijaya University developed contains a collection of task assignments that must be carried out by students, both individuals and groups, in such a way that the series of physical chemistry learning is in the form of a series of work assignments that follow the cycle of independent work tasks, group work and group presentations, and so on. The development of the Physics Chemistry teaching material follows the ADDIE model.

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE EIGHT GRADE STUDENTS’ READING MOTIVATION AND READING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT
Agustina, Eka
The main objectives of this research was to find out whether or not there was a statically significant correlation between the eighth grade students’ reading motivation (independent/predictor variable) and reading comprehension achievement (dependent/criterion variable) at SMP Negeri 1 Buay Madang Timur. This research applied correlational study with descriptive method. The population was all of the Eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Buay Madang Timur, with the total number of the students 208 students. The sample was 36 students taken through cluster random sampling method. From the data distribution, it can be said that most of the students tend to have difference score in students’ motivation and reading comprehension tests. The average score of reading motivation and reading comprehension test were 74.14 and 76.81 respectively. The students who have high reading motivation, they also got high reading comprehension achievement. And the students who have enough reading motivation, they also got enough reading comprehension achievement. Based on the findings in this research, it was found that the Pearson correlation coefficient between students’ reading motivation and reading comprehension achievement was 0.80 and exceeds the t-obtained was 7.77. For p>0.05 and df =36-2 =34, the t-table is 2.03224. Because t-obtained was higher than t-table, the correlation coefficient is significant. This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Finally, based on the finding of R square in this research it was found that the predictor variable (students’ reading motivation) gave contribution 64% to criterion variable (reading comprehension achievement). The rest 36% were influenced by others factors, like their interest in learning reading, their health or frame of mind on the day they took the test, the frequency of practice, their reading habit, etc.

Darmawijoyo, Darmawijoyo
The aim of this research is to know the part of learning trajectory supporting the student understanding on learning arithmetic sequence and series using tradisional handycraft songket Palembang with PMRI approach and describe learning students activity proccess of class X in learning mathematics so that can develop informal activity become formal when learning arithmetic sequence and series. The method used in this study is the Design Research that consists of three stages: preliminary, design of experiment (pilot experiments and teaching experiment) and restrospective analysis. The subjects consisted of 29 students of class X. This study resulted in Learning Trajectory (LT), which contains a series of learning process that helps students find the concept of arithmetic sequence and series. At the informal level, students use the context of songket Palembang to find rules of arithmetic sequence and series. In preformal level, students begin composing and drawing motif images of songket as of arithmetic sequences, using pieces of motifs songket as a model of what they consider to be a songket which led to a model for the arithmetic sequences in finding the n and number of first n terms of arithmetic series. While on a formal level the students is able to resolve the problem by using contextual knowledge and their experience at the previous level

Septiani, Merta
Petrus, Ismail
Yunus, M
The phenomenon of code-switching is an important issue in bilingualism. Many researchers have investigated its value in formal classroom teaching and learning activity. Code-switching in this study refers to the alternation of two languages, English and Indonesians, which happens during a conversation in social media. This study identified types and topics as well as investigated the factors that affect code switching in the online chatroom among 96 bilingual young adults. Cross-sectional survey design was used in this study. The data were collected through review of chats, questionnaire, and interview. Later, the data were analysed by using the statistics. The findings from the study revealed that the alumni of SMAN Sumatera Selatan mostly used intrasentential code- switching (67%), were interested in the topics of social, health, economics, politics, education, and technology, and their primary factor or reason of using code-switching was avoiding misunderstanding (75%). Other noted factors were: being easier to speak in own language (52.5%), not knowing the English words (28.7%), not similar words in L1/L2 (27.5%), filling the stopgap (25%), adding emphasis (25%), conveying intimacy (18.8%), and privacy (18.8%). In addition, the data revealed that the factors and the topics had a significant connection. Finally, codeswitching can be a useful strategy in online interaction if the aim is to maintain solidarity in an efficient way.
