Pengujian Biofungisida Berbasis Mikroorganisme Antagonis untuk Pengendalian Penyakit Busuk Umbi pada Kentang
Abstract
Prima TA, Lianti AD, Munthe BT, Retno DA, Yasmin GRE. 2020. Control of late blight disease on potato plants by using antagonistic microorganisms based biofungicide. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-8 Tahun 2020, Palembang 20 Oktober 2020. pp. xx. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).
Late blight disease on potato is the most harmful disease compared to other diseases because it can significantly reduce potato production. This review aims to provide scientific information about Trichoderma sp. which is used as a bio fungicide based on antagonistic microorganisms that can control late blight on the potato. This writing was carried out with a literature review which was then developed to become an easy-to-understand review. Late blight disease in potato is caused by the fungus Phytophthora infestans which reduces potato production by up to 90%. This pathogen can damage plant tissue so that no potato varieties are resistant to this disease. Based on the studies that have been done, it was found that Trichoderma sp. acts as antagonistic fungi that can control Phytophthora infestans in potato.
